 Susan Jessell , CRNP
Susan Jessell, CRNP, received her Associate degree in Nursing from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and attained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Jessell has more than 28 years nursing experience, including 14 years as a hospice and palliative care nurse. Susan is an Adult Nurse Practitioner who became certified as an Advanced Practice nurse in hospice and palliative care and works with Dr. Kathy Selvaggi in the Palliative Medicine Service at West Penn Hospital.
She is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, National Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, and the International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care. She also serves on the Pain Committee and Ethics Committee at West Penn Hospital
