Melissa M. Thimons, D.O.Melissa M. Thimons, D.O., received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed both her internship and residency training in internal medicine at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Thimons completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology through The Western Pennsylvania Cancer Institute at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital.Dr. Thimons is a member of several professional and academic societies, including the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Thimons is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine, and has authored numerous papers on a wide variety of medical topics.
